strawberry chip baked oats
I have recently discovered the wonder of baked oats. I did not grow up eating baked oats & it was not until it blew up on social media that I decided to give them try. This recipe is super easy to make and can very easily be adjusted. Weekends are the perfect time to make these oats for either breakfast or brunch and are great to make for friends and family! They are also perfect when your craving something sweet for breakfast!
Strawberry Chip Baked Oats (gf)
Ingredients:
1/2 c oats
1tsp baking powder
1 date or 1/2 tbs maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
1 banana
1/4 sliced strawberries
1tbs chocolate chips
spoonful yogurt or crème fraiche
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Add all ingredients to blender, except chocolate chips, strawberries, and yogurt. Mix on high for 30 seconds or until visibly smooth. Pour into an oven safe mug or dish and cook for about 20 mins! Alternatively cook in an air fryer for 10 mins at 400 degrees.
Serve with yogurt & sliced strawberries on top!
